Join us above the clouds to experience incredible 360° views of Tāmaki Makaurau, taking in ancient volcanoes, sparkling sunlit harbours and beyond. And if breath-taking panoramas alone aren't enough to excite you, indulge in a wealth of dining options, interactive installations, and adrenaline-fueled activities.


Your single-use ticket gives you access to all three observation levels in the Sky Tower:

  • Main Observation level - 186 metres above street level on Level 51
  • The Lookout –192 metres above street level on Level 53
  • Sky Deck - our highest viewing platform at 220 metres above street level located on Level 60


Please note that from time to time an observation level (or part thereof) may be closed for a private event*.  However, you will still be able to access the other observation levels in the Sky Tower during these periods.  We’re sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Friday – Sunday 9.30am – 8.30pm (last entry 7.45pm)

Terms & Conditions

Once your online purchase has been completed you will receive an email confirmation to the email address provided. You will need to bring this email (either printed or in a readable form on your device) to the Sky Tower ticketing counter upon arrival where it will be exchanged for a ticket.

Promotion tickets are for single-use only and is only valid for the specific date you've booked for. The information you provide at the time of purchase will be used to send you the confirmation of your ticket purchase. You have the right to access and request correction of any personal information held by SkyCity. Admission tickets are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, non-refundable and void if altered in any way. Bookings are not essential but are recommended for groups. All children under the age of 14 years must be accompanied by an adult.


Children must be 10 years or older to ride SkySlide unaccompanied (children aged between 7 and 9 years must ride accompanied by an adult). The SkySlide experience requires the provided headset to fit correctly. If for any reason the headset does not fit adequately a full refund will be given. Some guests may be unable to participate in SkySlide due to pre-existing health conditions. Click here to read SkySlide's disclaimer and pre-activity health checklist.
